It was another great day with the babies. What beauties!!! We had a really nice morning with Daddy before he started his business day.
Julie called to see if we wanted to meet her and her son, Bradon, at the swings here in Pheasant Ridge. Her little guy is really bright and such a cutie. It was fun for Kate and it also helped to challenge her a bit. After the swings she went on the big slide many times and I do not think she would have done it if Bradon hadn't done it first. He is a couple of weeks older than Kate and a little smaller in size but seems to be fearless!
Kate kept climbing up the steps and saying "Big one Mommy". She would sit in front of the slide, throw one leg forward and then just toss her entire body into the swing. She went down smiling every time. As she stood up and ran back to the steps, her hair was standing straight on end in an Albert Einstein style from the static electricity from the structure. She was too fast to capture on my camera because I would still be climbing down the steps to greet my girl.
Kate and Sean both loved the swings. They have two really nice baby swings. Sean was laughing and laughing as I pushed him. Kate did not want to get out but seeing Bradon over on the slide finally motivated her to move.
The sun was strong and I noticed Kate’s cheeks getting a little red. Sean was covered up in the stroller but I had a heck of a time strapping Kate in to go home. I am looking forward to returning almost as much as Kate is I am sure!
The kids each got a bath in the real tub tonight and not the sink. Sean did so well. He didn't even need the bathing chair that I put in the tub.He enjoyed splashing the water and did not want to get out. Kate did great too-even with hair washing, her least favorite activity. Her little cheeks glowed from the mild sunburn and she looked so adorable in her jammies with her face all aglow. We waited for Daddy to come home and he put her to bed after her usual routine.
