Swan Diving Baby

I got home tonight to my family waiting in the garage for me. Katy came running up to my car door before I could even exit the vehicle. It was a beautiful evening and we all walked around the yard for a few minutes. It was grill night and Michelle had picked up a couple of really fat rib eyes. After grilling steaks and warming up a few ears of corn we loaded up the babies for supper. The boy can really pack it in. It is kinda nice to have him so eager to eat just about anything in distinct contrast to the girl. She has become very picky. I asked her if she wanted some applesauce and she pushed all of the food that was in her mouth out and into her lap. After depositing the half chewed hot dog she eagerly awaited the applely goodness. Kids can be disgusting. The boy is trying to take a swan dive off the top of his high chair onto the tile floor lately. If you are at all remiss in having the next few bites of food staged up for him, he is ready to take a dive. I don’t ever remember Kate considering the jump from her high chair. I am afraid this boy is going to see a few more bumps and bruises than the girl. After dinner the boy scarfed down about 8 ounces of his milk/formula mixture in about one minute flat. After that he was almost immediately unconscious. Oh he is going to be good on Thanksgiving. The girl didn’t want the night to end as usual, but after a dramatic recitation of Hop on Pop we said our good nights and hit the crash pad. She loves Mama’s koo-koo night night face and has started doing her own version of it. Gotta get some pics going on this blog.
