Roller Coaster Princess

It was a rough and unrewarding evening trying to get Sean to take a bottle last night. It doesn’t seem to matter what is in the bottle he simply wants no part of it. You can’t help but feel bad for the little guy, and it would be real easy to throw in the towel. That’s not gonna happen though. Just before I left for work today I handed him over to Michelle to see how she could make out. Sure enough after a few minutes at work she called me to inform me of her success. SHOW OFF! It does seem like he takes to the sipping cup easier than he does the bottle, though he still hasn’t been successful with formula through either delivery method. He’ll get there. I am surprised he is still giving smiles to me with the stress he has had under, but there they are big and bold. The kid is tough. The baby Katy happy train just keeps moving on down the tracks too. She loves to hold hands and dance on the island while listening to “Boogie Shoes”. She even dances sitting down, which may be even more entertaining. And she is passing out kisses like candy on Halloween. She is particularly keen to give kisses for a toss or two into the air. As I was coming home from work Kate and Michelle were out front coloring the driveway with chalk. Kate really enjoys being outside. You can’t help but smile when you see her skipping around the drive and running through the grass. She came in under protest covered in chalk and we went out for a ride. While we were out I drove over a couple of hills and picked up my speed a bit to the wholehearted approval of our little girl. She was bursting with a squeal with every hill, and was even pushing for more . “GO!...GO! DADDY!” as she was craning her neck around the seat so she could get a better view of the oncoming terrain. Just for the record, we never went over 60, but the hills gave us that little tickly feeling in your stomach, and I think today was the first time Kate had that sensation happen to her. I think she is going to love roller coasters.
